Earthquake Radio Strategy

Earthquakes need immediate check-ins and long-range calls for rescue. Debris and damaged infrastructure favor portable, long-range radios. Quick nets coordinate aid.

Example: During an earthquake, JS8Call says, “Need medical help, over.”

Our channels are the standard; CERT teams should align with them.
