Wildfire Radio Strategy

Wildfires need fast updates for evacuation routes and road conditions. Use mid-range radios for town coordination and mobile radios for drivers. Smoke can disrupt signals, so choose wisely.

Example: During a wildfire, GMRS says, “Head west, fire’s close.”

Our channels are the standard; CERT teams should align with them.
